The PG & Research Department of Biochemistry, consisting of about 52 students, visited GNOSIS Research Centre, Vanagaram, Chennai-95, on 29.11.2025. Dr. I. Niyas Ahamed and Dr. K. Sheela accompanied the students. The laboratory comprised various sections dedicated to Biochemistry, Herbal Technology, Pharmacology, Clinical Research, Molecular Docking Studies, and Microbiology. Each section focused on different aspects of research and development. The industrial visit proved to be highly enriching and educational for the students, providing valuable insights into real-world laboratory practices, industrial-scale product development, and interdisciplinary training. The students were greatly impressed with the laboratory facilities and gained detailed knowledge about the expertise involved in biochemistry research. Overall, the laboratory visit was fruitful, and the students were highly satisfied with the experience.
