The PG & Research Department of Management Studies at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, organized a two-day National Level Workshop titled “Financial Education for Growth: Building a Strong Financial Future” on 26th and 27th November 2025. The workshop aimed to equip management students with essential financial literacy skills and strengthen their understanding of personal and institutional financial planning. Dr. P. Karthika, SEBI SMARTs Trainer, Director of Brightrue EduTech Solutions, and Associate Professor of Management at Kebri Dehar University, Ethiopia, served as the resource person. With her extensive expertise in financial education and investment awareness, Dr. Karthika offered practical insights on wealth creation, financial discipline, risk management, and sustainable financial practices relevant to young professionals. More than 50, I MBA students actively participated in the sessions, engaging in interactive discussions, case analyses, and hands-on activities designed to deepen their financial decision-making abilities. Students expressed that the workshop enhanced their confidence in handling financial matters both personally and professionally. The workshop was convened by Dr. S. Sasikumar, Head of the Department, and efficiently coordinated by Dr. J. Sasiganth, Prof. Lawrence G, Prof. Y. Joseph Santhosh Kumar, and Prof. S. Ranjitha. The event successfully fulfilled its objective of promoting financial awareness among budding managers and fostering a culture of informed financial planning within the academic community.
