The Department of Computer Science (Shift–I) and the Department of Computer Applications jointly organized a One-Day Workshop on “Software Project Methodology” for the final-year students of B.Sc. Computer Science (Shift–I) and BCA. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Wilson Anandaraj, Senior Vice-President, Infinite Computer Solutions (I) Ltd., Chennai, and a alumnus of the college. Mr. Wilson provided an insightful and industry-oriented session covering the essential phases of software project development, such as design methodologies, project planning, team coordination, testing strategies, and best practices followed in IT industries. He also shared real-time project scenarios and guided students on how to apply systematic methodologies to ensure successful software delivery. The workshop helped students gain clarity on professional project workflows, documentation standards, and the expectations of the software industry. It also motivated them to approach their academic projects with a more structured and disciplined methodology. The event was coordinated by Prof. J. John Arockiaraj, Head, Department of Computer Science (Shift–I).
