Youth for Social Responsibility (YSR) group of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, Shift–II, enthusiastically volunteered in the Nalam Kakkum Stalin Medical Camp held at Thiminamarathur, Tirupattur District, on 6th December 2025. A dedicated team of 30 YSR student volunteers stepped forward to contribute their service to this noble community-health initiative, demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility and compassionate outreach. The presence and encouragement of Rev. Dr. G. Theophil Anand, Additional Principal, and Rev. Dr. Shanmugam, Vice-Principal (Admin) and the in-charge of the YSR team, greatly motivated the volunteers. Their inspiring guidance strengthened the students’ enthusiasm and deepened their sense of duty toward serving society.

Officials from Aandiyappanur Block Primary Health Centre, including Ms. Soundarya (Health Officer), Dr. Sriram, and Counsellor Ms. C. S. Kalpana, warmly welcomed the YSR volunteers and appreciated their readiness to support the camp’s operations. They assigned the students various responsibilities such as guiding the villagers, assisting in preliminary health checkups, organizing queues, and providing support to the medical staff throughout the camp. The active participation of the YSR students significantly contributed to the smooth functioning of the medical camp, which aimed at promoting health awareness and offering essential medical services to the local community.
