“அரசியல் அறிவோம்: என் வாக்கு; என் உரிமை”

The All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, organised an Interactive Group Discussion on the theme “அரசியல் அறிவோம்: என் வாக்கு; என் உரிமை” on 8^th  December 2025 at the AV Hall at 2:00 p.m. The session aimed to create awareness among students about political literacy, the value of voting, and the responsibilities of youth in a democratic society.

The resource person for the programme was Dr. G. Mohan Gandhi, Assistant Professor of Tamil, Sacred Heart College. He provided an insightful and engaging presentation on the importance of understanding political processes, the constitutional rights of citizens, and the need for informed participation in elections. Dr. Gandhi emphasised the significance of each vote in shaping governance and highlighted key aspects of responsible citizenship.

The interactive format allowed students to actively participate, ask questions, share opinions, and reflect on their role in sustaining a healthy democracy. Several participants discussed current political challenges, the influence of youth voters, and the necessity of political awareness in academic communities.
