The National Workshop on “Advance Excel Using AI and Entrepreneur’s Tool Kit” was organized by the Department of Commerce (Computer Applications), Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, on 18th December 2025 at Carreno Hall, from 10.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The program was conducted under the auspices of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) with the objective of enhancing students’ analytical, technological, and entrepreneurial skills. The workshop commenced with a formal inaugural session. The dignitaries on the dais highlighted the importance of Advanced Excel skills integrated with Artificial Intelligence and their relevance in today’s data-driven and entrepreneurial environment. The workshop featured two eminent Resource Persons.
Dr. K. Logesh, Associate Professor and Head, Department of CSE, Kuppam Engineering College, Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh, delivered an insightful session on advanced Excel functionalities, AI-assisted data analysis, automation techniques, and real-time business applications. His session provided hands-on exposure to modern tools that enhance productivity and decision-making. The second session was handled by Mr. D. Ram kumar, D.P. Tech, MBA, MA, Entrepreneur & Trainer, and Graphic Designer from Dharmapuri. He focused on the Entrepreneur’s Tool Kit, emphasizing practical strategies for startups, business planning, digital tools, and innovative thinking. His interactive approach motivated students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities using technology. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. The interactive sessions, demonstrations, and real-world examples enriched the learning experience and encouraged active involvement. The program was organized under the guidance of the college management and patrons: Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, SDB (Rector & Secretary), Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antony Raj, SDB (Principal), Rev. Dr. G. Theophil Anand, SDB (Additional Principal), and Rev. Dr. D. Shanmugam, SDB (Vice Principal-Admin).The workshop was convened by Dr. P. Saravanan, with Rev. Dr. M. Anthonysamy as Organizing Secretary, and coordinated by Dr. D. Valarmathi and Mr. S. M. Cyril Christopher, Assistant Professors. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, marking the workshop as a grand success and a valuable learning experience for all participants.
