Event Details

The Christmas and Community Day Celebration was joyfully celebrated at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, on 23rd December, at 10 a.m. with the active participation of the management, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students.

The celebration commenced with a short prayer service led by Rev. Fr. S. Xavier Raj, the Campus Minister, invoking divine blessings for peace, hope, and goodwill.

The Welcome Address and Felicitation was delivered by the principal, Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antonyraj, who emphasized the importance of community living and shared values. This was followed by the release of the Sacred Heart Times, marking an important academic milestone of the institution.

It was followed by a Video Presentation felicitating Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, the Rector, prepared by Dr. John Martin and Dr. Philominraj, Assistant Professors, Department of Computer Science. A lively Carol Action Song by the Salesian Community filled the hall with festive cheer. The UG Girls from the Department of Microbiology, led by Ms. Nisha, presented a graceful Christmas Dance, followed by a melodious Teaching Staff Carol Song led by Dr. K. Arokiaraj.

The MBA students, led by Mr. G. Lawrence, presented a meaningful Christmas and Community Day message through Mime, conveying strong social values. The Non-Teaching Staff Carol Song, led by Mr. Francis Arokiaraj and Mr. Anthony Amalraj, added warmth and enthusiasm to the celebration.

An energetic FOSS Christmas Dance, presented by Rev. Fr. S. Xavier Raj, SDB, and his team, captivated the audience. Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, Rector and Secretary, shared inspiring reflections on unity, leadership, and community spirit.

The celebration concluded with a vibrant Christmas Dance by UG Boys and Girls. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. K. Selvanathan, Assistant Professor, Department of MSW (HRM).
