The Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur conducted a Hands-on Training Programme focused on full-stack development using the Django framework on 10^th Dec, 2025. The training aimed to give students practical exposure to backend development, API creation, and frontend integration. The session began with a welcome by Dr. T. Prabakaran, Head of the Department, and an introduction to the resource person. The programme covered key topics such as client–server architecture, Django fundamentals (project setup, URL routing, views, templates), backend development (models, ORM, CRUD operations), and REST API development. Students engaged in hands-on exercises, building projects and testing APIs in real time. Participants found the session highly informative and beneficial for improving coding skills and preparing for internships. The interactive nature of the training fostered active student involvement and clarified technical concepts effectively.
