The Educational Trip was conducted from 17 to 20 December 2025 as part of experiential and field-based learning by the PG Department of Social Work (HRM), Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur. The trip was designed to provide students with academic exposure beyond the classroom by combining industrial visits, rehabilitation centre exposure, and cultural learning. Students gained practical insights through visits to Technopark, Travancore Titanium Pvt. Ltd., and Santhawana Rehabilitation Centre, which helped them understand organisational structures, HR practices, and psychosocial support systems. Cultural and environmental learning was enhanced through visits to the Napier Museum, Poovar Island, and Alappuzha backwaters. Reflection and evaluation sessions encouraged critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership skills among the trainees.
