The Institutional Visit to VIT–Vellore was organized by the PG Department of Social Work (HRM), Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, on 11 December 2025, as part of its academic exposure and learning initiatives, in collaboration with the exchange of ideas. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into institutional functioning, academic excellence, and professional practices followed by a reputed university. The programme enabled students to explore the campus facilities, academic environment, and administrative systems of VIT–Vellore, enhancing their understanding of organizational culture and higher education management. Interaction sessions with faculty and staff offered valuable knowledge about academic programmes, student development initiatives, and industry–institution linkages. The visit also encouraged peer learning, networking, and collaborative thinking among students. Overall, the institutional visit was an enriching experience that broadened students’ perspectives, strengthened academic exposure, and aligned with the objectives of social work and human resource management education.
