The PG and Research Department of English successfully organized “Talk-O-Meter”, a language enrichment programme designed to enhance students’ speaking skills, spontaneity, and confidence in English. The programme was held on 23.01.2026 at 10.00 a.m. in Thanthai Periyar Hall.. The programme consisted of three competitive rounds, each thoughtfully designed to test different dimensions of English language proficiency: 1.Tongue Twister Round 2. JAM (Just A Minute) Round and 3. Block and Tackle Round. The programme was organized by Dr. U. Anto Maria Eusobia. The competition was judged by Dr. Peter Coniscious Prabhu, who evaluated the participants with keen insight and offered constructive feedback that motivated the students. The event witnessed active participation from students, creating an atmosphere of healthy competition and learning.
