Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the Overall Championship in the prestigious Roots & Rhythm’2K26 organized by Thiruvalluvar University, Serkkadu, Vellore. The grand intercollegiate cultural festival was conducted from 11th to 13th February 2026, bringing together talented students from various affiliated colleges under the university. A total of 137 students from Sacred Heart College enthusiastically participated in all the three days of the event, showcasing their vibrant talents, creativity, and competitive spirit. The festival featured 52 diverse events spanning cultural, literary, and artistic competitions.

Demonstrating exceptional skill and consistent excellence, the students of Sacred Heart College emerged victorious in 32 competitions, thereby securing the coveted Overall Championship title. The entire participation and preparation process were effectively coordinated and meticulously monitored by Rev. Dr. Shanmugam, Vice-Principal (Admin), Shift-II. His constant encouragement, strategic guidance, and unwavering support played a pivotal role in motivating the students to perform at their best. The triumph at Roots & Rhythm’2K26 has added another feather to the cap of Sacred Heart College, reinforcing its reputation for excellence in academics as well as co-curricular achievements.
