An awareness programme on Drug and Child Abuse was successfully organized by the Red Ribbon Club (Shift II) with the aim of educating students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and the serious social issue of child abuse. The programme focused on creating awareness, promoting responsible behavior, and encouraging students to become socially conscious individuals.The programme was organized by Mr. V. S. Jayakumar Paul Bosco and Dr. J. Jayachitra, whose efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the event. The sessions highlighted the causes, consequences, and preventive measures related to drug abuse and child abuse. Emphasis was laid on the importance of early awareness, legal aspects, and the role of youth in building a safe and healthy society.The programme was informative and interactive, enabling students to understand the importance of making positive life choices and standing against social evils. The awareness programme concluded with a strong message encouraging students to spread awareness among their peers and contribute to a drug-free and child-safe society.
