The Department of Computer Science (Shift–II) organized an industrial visit to Wing Slide Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on 19th February 2026, in which a total of 102 students from I, II, and III B.Sc. Computer Science participated, accompanied by four female faculty members and one male faculty member. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the IT industry and to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-time industrial practices. The session commenced with a welcome address by the company’s HR team Mr Nandhish Kumar A T, Corporate Relations and Trainer, followed by an informative presentation about the company’s vision, services, and ongoing projects. Students gained insights into software development processes, Agile methodology, teamwork, project management, and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Full Stack Development, and Cyber Security. A live demonstration of project workflows was also presented, helping students understand how programming concepts are applied in real-world scenarios. The interactive session allowed students to clarify their doubts regarding internships, placement opportunities, required technical skills, and career growth in the IT sector. Overall, the industrial visit was highly informative and beneficial, enhancing students’ technical knowledge, industry awareness, and motivation to develop both professional and soft skills.
