Department of Extension Education and Services (DEEDS), Sacred Heart College(Autonomous) Tirupattur in collaboration with SURABI, Chennai, successfully organized a Scholarship Distribution Programme on 13th March 2026 at the DEEDS (DB Centre) premises. The programme was conducted with the objective of supporting deserving students in their educational pursuits and promoting inclusive development through financial assistance.

A total scholarship amount of Rs. 60,000 was distributed to four students, providing them with much-needed financial support to continue their studies. The beneficiaries were carefully selected based on their academic performance and economic background, ensuring that the assistance reached the most deserving candidates. The scholarship was formally distributed by Rev. Dr. Shanmugam, Director of DEEDS, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of education as a powerful tool for social transformation.
