Drug Awareness Rally

The Drug Awareness Rally was organized by the District Administration of Tirupattur in collaboration with the Youth Red Cross (YRC) Shift-II, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur. The programme was conducted in observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.The rally was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. G. Ravi Kumar, IAS, District Collector, Tirupattur District, and Mr. Akshay Anil Wakhare, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Tirupattur District. Students actively participated in the awareness campaign, holding placards that highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse. The rally started from the District Collectorate and proceeded towards Kamarajar Arangam at Sacred Heart College, where the main awareness programme was conducted. The event successfully raised awareness among the public and encouraged the youth to stay away from drugs. Mr. G. Ravi Kumar, IAS, shared a message emphasizing the importance of staying drug-free and contributing to a healthy and responsible society.The Youth Red Cross also conducted various competitions in which students actively participated.
