Sacred Heart College
The Third Year Students' Parents' Meeting for Shift II of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur was conducted successfully on 18 July 2026 at 11.00 a.m. in Kamarajar Arangam. The meeting was organized with the objective of strengthening the partnership between the institution and parents, while discussing the academic progress, discipline, attendance, placement opportunities, and future plans of the final-year students. The programme commenced with a Prayer Song rendered by Dr. Henston and team from the Department of English, invoking God's blessings for the gathering. Dr. G. Devi, Associate Dean and UG Head, Department of Commerce, warmly welcomed the dignitaries, parents, faculty members, and students.
The felicitation address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter SDB, Principal, who motivated the students to utilize the remaining period of their final year effectively and prepare themselves for higher education and employment opportunities. The Instructions and Interaction Session was led by Rev. Dr. G. Theophil Anand SDB, Additional Principal. He explained the academic regulations, examination procedures, attendance requirements, placement activities, and institutional expectations from the final-year students. He also interacted with the parents, and encouraged them to maintain regular communication with the college to support their overall development. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr. K. Anbarasu, Department of Tamil, who expressed sincere gratitude to the management, dignitaries, parents, faculty members, organizing committee, and students for their wholehearted participation and cooperation. The meeting came to an end with the College Anthem, reaffirming the institution's vision and values.
