Awareness Program on Gender Equality

The Department of Computer Science (Shift-II), Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, organized a special awareness session on "Gender Equality: A Right, not a Privilege" on 16 July 2026 (Thursday) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Mother Teresa Hall. The session was delivered by Ms. Latha M, Youth Development Counsellor, Sacred Heart College. The resource person highlighted the importance of gender equality, mutual respect, equal opportunities, and the shared responsibility of creating an inclusive society. She encouraged students to challenge gender stereotypes, promote dignity and respect for all individuals, and contribute towards building a fair and equitable community. The interactive session motivated students to uphold the values of equality and social justice in their personal and professional lives.
