Back to Events

The AICUF (All India Catholic University Federation) Unit of our college organized an Orientation Programme on 28.07.2026 at Viktor Frankl Hall, BISS Block, to introduce students to the vision, mission, and activities of AICUF. The programme aimed to motivate students to become responsible leaders committed to social justice, human dignity, and nation-building.

The programme commenced with a prayer song, followed by the session. The event was organized and coordinated by Dr. A.M. Magesh Selva Kumar and Mrs. S. Riya. The resource person, Dr. Wilson Bosco Paul, delivered an inspiring session on the history, objectives, and core values of AICUF. The speaker explained the AICUF motto, “We are Born in an Unjust Society and We are Determined Not to Leave It as We Have Found It,” and encouraged students to develop critical thinking, leadership qualities, and a commitment to serving marginalized communities.

The session also covered the various activities of AICUF, including leadership training, social outreach programmes, village immersion camps, environmental initiatives, human rights awareness, and student advocacy. Students were encouraged to actively participate in these programmes to enhance their personal growth and social responsibility.

An interactive question-and-answer session followed, during which students clarified their doubts and shared their views on social issues and community engagement. The resource person appreciated the enthusiasm of the participants and motivated them to become active members of AICUF. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the AICUF leaders, who expressed gratitude to the management, the resource person, faculty members, student coordinators, and all the participants for making the event successful.

Overall, the orientation programme successfully introduced students to the ideals and mission of AICUF and inspired them to become responsible, compassionate, and socially committed young leaders.
