The PG and Research Department of Biochemistry, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, organized an Invited talk on “Enhancing Research Skills through Open Access Databases and AI Tools” on 18 August, 2026. Dr. A. Poongothai, Assistant Professor and Head i/c, felicitated the gathering. Dr. S. Govindarajan, PG Association President, introduced the resource person, Dr. M. Selvam, Librarian, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur. The speaker provided valuable insights into various open access databases and demonstrated how these resources can be effectively utilized for literature searching, accessing scholarly articles, collecting research information, and keeping abreast of recent developments in the field of science.
