On June 26th, 2023 the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was commemorated. The Tamil Nadu Police Department, Tirupattur District arranged a digital poster design and reels making contest. The event aimed to raise awareness about the perils of drug usage and illegal trafficking among college students. Mr. Mohammed Musaddhiq, II BCA won the first prize and honored with a cash award of Rs. 3500. Mr. M. Jeevan Kishore and Mr. T. Sakthivel, III B.Sc Computer Science (Shift II) secured third-place and received a cash award of Rs. 1500. Ms. R. Brindha, Ms. S. S. Ezhilarasi, Mr. R. Dhayanidhi, and Mr. S. Sridharan, Department of Computer Science (Shift-II) received consolation prize for their outstanding performances. The prizes were graciously presented by Mr. Albert John, the Superintendent of Police, Tirupattur District.
