About COE
The Examination cell attained autonomous status in the academic year 1987–88 for Shift I. Shift II was introduced in 1986
under the University of Madras and affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University in 2003, attaining autonomous status in 2007–08.
The controller issues examination applications, conducts internal assessment and semester examinations, oversees Ph.D and
M.Phil viva, manages paper evaluation and re-valuation, and provides UG and PG mark sheets.
