There are two components in the evaluation and assessment of a student: Continuous Assessment (CA) and Semester Examination (SE). The CA takes place during the course of the semester and the Semester Examination is conducted at the end of each semester — Odd Semester in October/November and Even Semester in April/May. Each UG programme consists of six semesters, each PG programme consists of four semesters, and each Post Graduate Diploma programme consists of two semesters.
